How to configure SMTP Authentication with Apple Mail (MacMail)

Apple Mail 1.3.9 on Mac Os X 10.3.8

Go to Mail > Preferences and highlight the account

Select the Account Information tab:

In the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) section, ensure mail.yourdomain.com is selected then click on Server Settings.

Select Password as the Authentication method.

Enter your username and password:

If you dont know your password you will need to contact 123 Marbella Tech Support or refer to your documentation we sent you when we first set up your email account

Click OK

Mac Mail is now configured to use SMTP AUTH.
